Description

This is a floppy-style soft mount, meaning the body is flexible and lightly stuffed so it can be posed naturally on furniture, shelves, or displays. The legs have wiring in them to allow for minimal posing, but the body, neck and tail are “floppy” making it enjoyable to hold, carry, or cuddle.

Pelt is real red fox that was legally, sustainably, and ethically purchased and mounted by me using steel wiring, quilt batting, polyfil, thread, clay, hide paste, foam head form, plastic ear liners, hot glue and pastels for touch-ups.

Care: Fur may arrive flattened from shipping, gentle brushing with a pin bristle brush will fluff back up.

Pelts are real fur and leather and not meant as a toy, do treat with care. May have some shedding as most fur products. Natural blemishes are possible such as small matting or repairs (mentioned in description below).

*This was the first soft mount I have made so there were mistakes! Some fur was missing so minor repairs were done on head and back of right shoulder (one repair on head may come off if handled incorrectly). And there was a hole behind left ear where the ear liner may be visible only upon close inspection. If buyer would like better pictures of those issues, please message me!
