Red-Eared Slider Turtle Shells

Real animal bones parts – Turtle Shell, this is not a live turtle, Shell only.

Red-eared sliders get their name from the small red dash around their ears, the “Slider” part of their name comes from their ability to slide off rocks and logs and into the water quickly. Red-eared sliders are excellent swimmers and are almost entirely aquatic, but as they are cold-blooded they leave the water to sunbathe to regulate their temperature. As in nature the male turtles are brightly colored and the females are of natural toned to camouflage themselves.

These shells are humanely and sustainable collected, the breastplate underneath is intact. Keep in mind that slight wear and tear and minor imperfections are to be expected since these are natural Turtle Shells.

These Turtle Shells have been cleaned out but still in their natural state, some have been coated in polyurethane to keep the shine on them. These beautiful shells great for all kinds of projects for purses, medicine bags, dream catchers, rattles, handbags, pouches or your own unique decorations, display “as is” for an interesting conversation piece and more.
