Vendor Biography

Before I get started you need to know that EACH AND EVERY ONE of these handmade items are handmade by me, John Beecroft. Been doing it since 1987 and I’m not stopping now. The rest is a true family business as my nephew applies the finishes to my Bows, My brother in law does the arrow fletching & my daughter runs the computer. We just all pitch in to do the assorted sewing. We don’t ship them in from places unknown…. They’re all made, RIGHT HERE IN AMERICA!
All of our items in this shop are gathered and made by our family. I’m sure you can tell because we LOVE to talk about our work!

Now, on to the story….
My name is John Beecroft. I became interested in Native American Crafts at a early age, as I spent summers with Grandma helping make Sterling Silver Jewelry, Arrowheads & other crafts. Between Junior High & High School I took 7 years of Woodworking, Jewelry & Leather Classes. Became employed by Tandy Leather in 1981 & became very knowledgeable in Leather & Wood Crafts. I started attending Rendezvous & Pre-1830 period events & eventually quit Tandy Leather.

Opened my own business in 1987 & started making Bows. Loved it & have done it ever since. I make thousands of Bows each year. In fact, there is at least one shop in most major Faire in the United States that carries my bows. But, I’m always looking for a new challenge. If you want a Bow, handmade especially for YOU, then I’m the one to call. If you have a new idea for something…or just want something completely different, please let me know. I’ll see what I can do to make your dream oddity a reality!

I build many different items, some of which you will see in my shop. I will answer any questions I can and I look forward to hearing from you.
