St. Michael Resin Incense – 50 mg package
Description
St. Michael Resin Incense blend is a well-known and loved burnable incense. A lovely blend of frankincense, myrrh, copal, sandalwood and essential oils that you will instantly recognize! Contains no fillers and only natural dyes. These exotic substances have been used in spiritual practices for at least 4,000 years. Inhale the scent of the burning incense or crushed resin to awaken your awareness of the spiritual reality behind our everyday existence, and to carry your prayers to the Elders in the smoke. It is a great tool to use before prior to or during rituals and meditation, to clear your energy field. Use as a house blessing and to clear space, as you would any smudges.
Plant resins are less processed than essential oils, so they hold more essence of the plant and more spirit energy. This concentration of the “blood” of the plant is what make them powerful reservoirs of natural energies. The most common way to use resins is to place them on a burning piece of charcoal tablet allowing the aroma of the smoke to fill the air, releasing its energy and essence. Smudging with sacred herbs and resins is a tradition as old as time, utilized by peoples of most spiritual and religious traditions. All herbs and resins have individual healing properties known to our ancient ancestors and both used and appreciated in modern times, as well.
It is a recommended and welcome practice on a frequent basis to clear negative or stagnant energy, clear energies from your body and mind after work, and to purify the air during and after illnesses of all kinds. Also a wonderful tool to cleanse new items entering your home, or after visitors exit, to neutralize and charge the air with positive energy. Smudging can, and should be done to create sacred space for healing and prayers.
How to burn St. Michaels Incense:
The charcoals used to burn resins get very hot. Use with a metal screen or with sand to insulate your holder from the heat. Break the charcoals in half or smaller. Once the charcoal starts to spark, put St. Michaels on the Charcoal. lt’s best to let the whole charcoal begin to glow before sprinkling on the resin a little bit at a time. Do not add too much or cover the charcoal completely as you will put out the charcoal. Also, most natural resin incenses smell better when burned in small amounts at a time.
Wholesale Prices are available upon request.
Keep away from kids and pets. Let the charcoal burn down completely, making sure it’s not glowing before throwing out.
